ACEs & The Impact on Children's Behaviour
This time of the event is 1pm to 3.30pm
Research has shown that many children who have faced adversity in their early life are often among those who struggle within a classroom environment, often throughout their whole education career.
Our training has been designed to ensure that the professionals who care for and teach these children have an understanding of the impact of their poor early experiences. It is essential that education staff are given the tools to understand children’s behaviours if they are to meet their individual needs.
We will cover an introduction to:
• Attachment Theory
• Brain Development
• ACE Study
• Impact of Trauma
• Associated Behaviours
Participants from our previous training events have said....
"The training was excellent. It was thought-provoking and very interesting."
"I enjoyed the practical aspects of the training and now feel much more informed!"
"Very informative and will definitely inform my practice."
"It really makes you think... has changed my mindset."
This event is aimed at Professionals who care for and work with children and young people who have experienced trauma
Refreshments will be provided
