Insecure attachments and early developmental trauma, or ACEs, can have a significant and long lasting impact on how the brain develops. Through our links with St Margaret's Adoption Society, we have been leading the way in raising awareness of the landmark ACEs’ study and can offer an insight into how a child's development can be adversly affected by these early experiences. This one day course will give participants a better understanding of the various attachment styles and the impact that trauma can have on brain development, including how this may affect children's behaviours.
